Future is such a special place. They bend over backwards to support my child and all the others, ensuring they are growing academically, personally and emotionally. I’ve never found a school so welcoming, a team so devoted. They deserve so many accolades!

About Enrollment
Future Public School is a free, public charter school open to any student in Kindergarten through 6th grade. We offer free transportation, access to a federal meal program with free and reduced lunch pricing, and full-day kindergarten.
To enroll at Future, all potential new students must complete a lottery application. If space is available, the lottery process will determine which prospective students will be admitted to Future. After the lottery, if the classes are full, all other applicants who have not been offered a seat will be added to a waitlist.
As families finalize their enrollment plans, movement on the waitlist is expected, and those on the waitlist have a good chance at a seat. All applicants will be given the opportunity to apply regardless of race, color, ethnic origin, gender, religion, social or economic status or special needs.

Lottery & Enrollment Process
Future is a free, public charter school open to anyone regardless of race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, gender, social or economic status and/or special needs. More detailed information can be found below, but here is the lottery process in a nutshell:
- The first step to enroll at Future is to complete a lottery application here.
- On the scheduled date and time, a designated 3rd party will launch the digital process which randomizes the order in which grade levels are drawn, followed by preference categories, to distribute seats among the applicants.
- Families are notified that the lottery has been completed, and either receive an offer of a seat, or are notified they’ve been added to the waitlist.
- After the lottery, if there is an opening mid-year the first child on the waiting list for the grade in which the opening occurred will be offered the open spot.
Future Public School will follow Idaho Code Section 33-502 (j). Prospective engineers will be placed in priority groups as follows:
- First Priority – The first priority group of Future Public School will include the children of full-time employees, children of the Founders (provided that this admission preference shall be limited to not more than ten percent (10%) of the capacity of Future Public School
- Second Priority – The second priority group is engineers with currently enrolled siblings.
- Third Priority – The third priority group is engineers who reside within the Primary Area of Attendance
- Fourth Priority – The fourth priority group includes engineers who reside outside of the Primary Area of Attendance
Attendance Zone
Future Public School is available to all families within the Treasure Valley. 70% of our families live within surrounding neighborhoods, as our lottery prioritizes addresses within the attendance zone.
Our Attendance Zone is from: N. Whitewater Park Blvd. and W. State St. north to N. Glenwood St. and W. State St., west to Mountain View Dr., south to N. Milwaukee St., south to Emerald to N. Cole Rd., south to N. Cole Rd. to W Overland Rd., east on W. Overland Rd. to S. Roosevelt. St., north on S. Latah St. to Emerald St., north on S. Americana Blvd. to Shoreline Dr., north on Shoreline Dr./27th St. to Main St., south on Main St to Whitewater Park Blvd.
Residents on both sides of the streets are included in the Attendance Zone.
